There are two main forms of server-side scripting:
CGI scripts were the earliest form of server-side scripting used on the internet. Each CGI script is contained within a file stored within a special CRI directory held on web server within disc space allocated to that particular website.
There are a number of computer languages used for CGI scripts, the most popular being PERL.
Although Oultwood can produce CGI scripts, it specialises in using the more versitile embedded scripts.
Embedded scripts are scripts that can be included within the normal HTLM code of a web page.
